Water Damage Leads
For mitigation and restoration companies that answer the phone at any hour and can get a crew on site. Water damage leads in this program are mostly inbound calls from homeowners with an active loss, routed to your on-call tech by ZIP, plus phone-verified form leads for damage found after the fact.
Who this program is for
Companies that run extraction and structural drying, and want direct homeowner work alongside their carrier and TPA programs.
- IICRC-certified water mitigation companies
- Restoration companies that handle mitigation and rebuild
- Drying-only companies that sub out reconstruction
- Franchise territories running mitigation
- Mold remediation companies that also take water losses
- Plumbing companies with a mitigation division
What you can buy
Emergency water damage calls
Homeowners with water on the floor right now from a burst supply line, a failed water heater or an overflowing appliance. The call rings your on-call line straight from our ad.
After-the-fact mitigation leads
Phone-verified form leads from homeowners who found damage after the source stopped: a stained ceiling, cupped floors, a smell under the sink. Less urgent, and often with a claim still to open.
Sewage and Category 3 calls
Sewer backups and contaminated water, for companies equipped to take them. Routed separately so you opt in on purpose.
Storm and flood water calls
Water from roof failures, wind-driven rain and groundwater in the markets you pick. You decide whether you want flood work at all.
Mold-after-water inquiries
Homeowners who see growth after an old leak. Fits companies that hold the mold license their state requires, where one applies.
Pay-per-call water damage leads
Water damage is call-first work. A homeowner with water spreading across the floor wants a person on the phone and a crew on the way, and the fastest way to get both is to dial. Our ads are built for that moment.
The call routes to your on-call tech by ZIP and by hour, including nights and weekends if you staff them. It bills once it meets the definition we agree on before the first call, for example a call length, a caller who owns or manages the property, an active or recent loss, and a ZIP you cover. Callers looking for a plumber, a carpet cleaner or their landlord can be written out of it.
Freeze nights and storm weeks bring calls in bunches, so caps are set to the crews and dryers you have free. Recordings settle a disputed call. The homeowner also tends to describe the source of loss and their insurance on the call, which your project manager can put in the job file.
- Emergency and after-the-fact work on separate tracking numbers
- Around-the-clock routing to your on-call phone, by ZIP
- Wrong-service callers excluded from the billable definition in writing
- Recordings kept for disputes and for your job file
- Caps by day and market, raised or cut around freeze and storm weeks
- The personCalls a tracking number from our ad or page
- The routingGoes to your team by ZIP and business hours
- Your teamPicks up a caller who asked for what you sell
- The billCounts once the call meets the definition we agreed
What we ask before a lead reaches you
A water loss is only worth taking if a crew can act on it, and these questions sort that out.
- Owns the property, or manages it
- Property ZIP
- Whether water is still coming in or has stopped
- Source: supply line, appliance, water heater, roof, sewer or groundwater
- When it started or was found
- Rooms and levels affected
- Has homeowners insurance, and whether a claim is open
- Home or commercial building
Consent and compliance
Form leads pass a text-code phone check (OTP) at submission, and each carries a TrustedForm certificate. Calls are placed by the property owner or manager to a tracking number from our ad, and every call is recorded.
You hold the contractor license your state requires, plus a mold license where one applies, and you work to the IICRC standards you advertise. You follow your state's rules on work authorizations, assignment of benefits and billing the carrier. We don't adjust claims, and our ads never promise that insurance will pay.
Run your own numbers
Judge us on cost per signed work authorization, and on what each job is worth through rebuild.
- 1Line
Cost per signed job = what you pay per billable call ÷ the share that sign a work authorization
- 2Line
Job value = mitigation invoice + (share that go to rebuild × average rebuild invoice)
- 3Line
Profit per call = (signed share × job value × your gross margin) − what you pay per call
- 4Line
Run emergency calls and after-the-fact leads separately, because they sign at different rates
Questions buyers ask
Can calls reach my on-call tech overnight?
Yes. Routing follows your schedule by ZIP and hour, and night and weekend calls can go to a different number. Outside the hours you set, calls stop routing to you.
Are the calls sold to me alone?
You choose. Web leads can be sold to you alone or shared with a set number of buyers. Each call rings one buyer: you take every call in your area, or share the rotation with a set number of buyers. The choice is written into your agreement.
Do I have to take sewage or flood work?
No. Category 3, flood and mold run as separate campaigns. You opt into the ones your crews and equipment handle.
What makes a call billable?
The definition we agree on before the first call. It is built from call length and qualifiers like an active or recent loss, a property the caller owns or manages, and a ZIP you cover. Every call is recorded so you can check it.
What happens with a bad call or lead?
Return rules are written into your agreement before the first lead.
What areas do you cover and what does it cost?
Coverage and pricing are set per program after you apply, based on your markets and volume.
